For Nashville pianist Jason Floyd Coleman, playing the piano goes beyond melodies and rhythms—it's about the deep connections between music, memories, and family. As the grandson of piano legend Floyd Cramer, Jason naturally carries on the timeless music of the past. From a young age, he inherited his grandfather’s distinctive ‘slip-note’ style, which showed in even his earliest lessons. Jason performed with Floyd at concerts and on national TV, and their close bond laid the foundation for Jason's music career.

At 19, Jason honored his grandfather at Floyd’s Country Music Hall of Fame induction. Over the next two decades, Jason produced piano albums and toured extensively, bringing the signature Cramer style to new audiences. Since 2020, he’s reached even more listeners through The Jason Coleman Show, a weekly piano concert series on TV and WSM Radio. On New Year’s Eve 2022, 25 years after Floyd’s passing, Jason made his Grand Ole Opry debut, honoring his grandfather with an unforgettable performance.
